Hey Allen. You took the words right out of my mouth. I loved the skys so much I now have a ranch overlooking 11 mountain ranges in and around the Fandango locations. It takes my breath away watching every sunset. I am now blind as a result of stabbing out my eyes for missing the UF last summer. Well not really but I should be for having to make money and stay at work during the UF. Next year.

Hey guys, found this site last night and was thrilled. Tell me about the UF, what's it about and where, when etc. Does anyone have pics from this past year's event?

Jeff, first off, I love your u-tube video tributes, great stuff!! However, I have to ask about the rock the Costner stood on to salute the Groovers with DOM. From all angles it looks like it is over a drop to death if you were to fall. I can't imagine that they would let Costner put himself in that position, but even Brian or you (not sure who was in the pic) make it look like a cliff hangar of a position. It appears that if you fell, it would be all over. Please describe the actual scene. Thanks!

Oh and by the way, back in the early 80's, while in high school a friend of mine took a one-day-then-jump-parachute lesson, which we survived ( no laundry ) but it is amazing that Truman's 7 second instruction sequence on the black board is totally accurate and though condensed, it covers everything we spent 6 hours learning before we jumped! Even down to the Mae West and the Streamer. We even had the radios on our chests to hear commands from the ground to guide us down.

Well, that's all for now, I'm hungry, so I think I'll go out and get some dinner. I'm thinking that 2 chili dogs and a malt sounds pretty appealing right now.

Groove on!!!!!

Jeff, regarding your "c'mon" comment about 3 chili dogs,.......that hurts............I am ashamed of myself for missing that line. To redeem myself, I plan to watch it again 3 times this week. Do you remember the day that it came out on DVD? I had a VHS version that was virtually following apart, but held it together as best as I could. It is so nice to know that we finally have it locked into history. Another line from the movie that I use regularly is the " tough it out son, tough it out".

I'm living in Cincinnati, if anyone cares. I sense a bonding taking place. Maybe Chuck will invite us to LA for a fan party and pay for hotel rooms for all of us as well as air fair and dining costs! Wouldn't that be great?!!!!

Snakes? Did he say snakes? Maybe I'll just take some pics from the car!

Because Phil was right, it wasn't just a snake, it was a RATTLER!!!
