Jeff, first off, I love your u-tube video tributes, great stuff!! However, I have to ask about the rock the Costner stood on to salute the Groovers with DOM. From all angles it looks like it is over a drop to death if you were to fall. I can't imagine that they would let Costner put himself in that position, but even Brian or you (not sure who was in the pic) make it look like a cliff hangar of a position. It appears that if you fell, it would be all over. Please describe the actual scene. Thanks!
Oh and by the way, back in the early 80's, while in high school a friend of mine took a one-day-then-jump-parachute lesson, which we survived ( no laundry ) but it is amazing that Truman's 7 second instruction sequence on the black board is totally accurate and though condensed, it covers everything we spent 6 hours learning before we jumped! Even down to the Mae West and the Streamer. We even had the radios on our chests to hear commands from the ground to guide us down.
Well, that's all for now, I'm hungry, so I think I'll go out and get some dinner. I'm thinking that 2 chili dogs and a malt sounds pretty appealing right now.
Groove on!!!!!
